THE PROCESS

FROM START, TO FINISH – THE EXPERIENCE

Step 1: Let´s connect

Click “Get Started” to begin the process, and I’ll be in touch within 24 hours to discuss your vision and next steps. We will discuss dates, times, your ideas and location- I’m here to answer questions and give suggestions that will help your session be just what you want.

Step 2: Book your photo session

Once we’ve addressed all your questions, we’ll schedule your photo session date.

To secure your booking, I’ll send you an email with a simple online contract and invoice- making the process seamless and stress-free.. A 50% nonrefundable retainer is required to officially reserve your sessions.

Step 3: Plan the perfect session for YOUR family

After signing the contract and completing the invoice, you’ll receive a detailed guide to help you prepare for your session- from what to wear to how to help prepare kids. I’ll also send a personalized questionnaire to better understand your vision and preferences, and get to know your family a bit. Feel free to share inspiration photos, ideas, or questions at any time—I’m here to make the planning process effortless. I’m happy to assist with outfit planning, including options from my client closet.

Step 4: A smooth photo day experience!

As we get close to photo day, I’ll resend the preparation guide to ensure you feel completely ready and answer any last-minute questions to make the experience as seamless as possible.
Family Picture day is full of laughs, snuggles and games to ensure the whole family has fun.

Step 5: Gallery design

A few days after your family photo session, you’ll receive an online soft-proof gallery, allowing you and your loved ones to select your favorite images for editing. You’ll also have the option to purchase additional digital images after reviewing the gallery.

Once you’ve made your selections, I’ll deliver your final gallery within two weeks. Your finished collection will include full-resolution images, available for seamless online download.

FAQ

Where do you travel?

For the Snapshot Sessions (30 minutes), I only offer in studio, located in Delta, Ohio. My studio has indoor and outdoor options available. See my studio here!

For the Signature Sessions, I travel up to 45 minutes of Delta, Ohio. That covers most of Northwest Ohio and some of Southeast Michigan. See the Location Guide here!

I am happy to travel longer distances for your family! I charge $50 per every 30 minutes outside the 45 minute radius.

Can pets be included in photos?

YES! If we are doing an outdoor photo session, I suggest bringing a friend with you to help wrangle your pet. It’s a huge help!

What should my family wear for photos?

Great question- I know that can be HARD! Try to make it easy on yourself. I have simple white t-shirts available in my client closet for the whole family for a simple look!

If you prefer to dress yourself- Here are some tips.

Choose light, neutral colors.
Avoid large logos on your clothes.
Try to coordinate, but not match.
Add in layers and accessories- jackets, hats, necklaces- ect.

What happens if I need to reschedule or cancel?

Life happens- I totally understand. If you or a family member is sick, contact me via text or email and we can reschedule your session up to 24 hours in advance.
If the weather is bad, we will reschedule your outdoor session. I will be in touch within 24 hours of your session discussing the weather conditions. Or we can move the session into my studio.

If you cancel within 24 hours or no-show, you will forfeit your right to reschedule your session.

Do clients have to order prints through you?

Each session comes with a print release for PERSONAL use. You can print your photos for personal use anywhere you like. BUT I cannot guarantee the quality of the photos UNLESS you print through your gallery.

If you print through your gallery, I will give a full guarantee on quality and color. You can return your photos to me and explain the issues, and I will re-edit and re print one time to make the situation right.

Do you require a retainer?

Yes. I require a 50% nonrefundable retainer to book a session that is more than 2 weeks away. The remaining 50% is due 24 hours before your session.

If your session is within 2 weeks, I do charge the full amount to book your session.

There are no refunds, but you can reschedule up to 24 hours before your session.

What happens if we are late to our session?

If you are late to the session, the amount of time you are late will be taken out of your photo time. Your session will still END at the planned time. This can result in not getting the full amount of photos.

Please call or text me if you are running late.
