When my son was born, I was intimidated by newborn photos. It felt like a lot of work, a lot of planning, and I had no idea what “theme” I would do. Plus the price was intimidating. I have built my business around trying to make newborn photos EASY and affordable.

The Details
Newborn photos can feel overwhelming. I know- I was too intimidated by the whole process (and price) of newborn photos when my son was born. That is why it is so important to me that I make the process as simple as possible on parents. And why I like to explain EVERYHING up front. There is the whole process!
The Process
1. Click "Get Started"
Fill out the form, and I’ll be in touch within 24 hours. I will answer any questions and confirm availability around your due date.
Maternity Photos will get an OFFICIAL date/time.
Newborn photos will be booked tentativelly on your due date to hold space in my calander.
2. Book Your Sessions
I’ll send an email with an online contract and invoice. Both can be done online- no need for printing off the contract to sign! 50% retainer is due on the online invoice to book your session(s).
3. Plan YOUR Perfect Session
I’ll send a questionnaire to let you choose your props and wraps. I also send a detailed guide to help you plan for your session. You can send inspo pics or questions my way any time!
4. Schedule Official Newborn Session
Once baby is born, you must contact me to schedule the OFFICIAL newborn session. I will re-send the guide and the invoice for the remianing 50% payment.
5. Gallery Delivery
A few days after your session, I will send a “soft gallery.” You can choose your favorite photos for me to edit. You can also purchase more digital images if you wish.
Within 2 weeks of choosing your favorites, you will get an online gallery with your edited images!
FAQ's
What should my family wear for photos?
Great question- I know that can be HARD! Try to make it easy on yourself. I have simple white t-shirts available in my client closet for the whole family for a simple look!
If you prefer to dress yourself- Here are some tips.
- Choose light, neutral colors.
- Avoid large logos on your clothes.
- Try to coordinate, but not match.
- Add in layers and accessories- jackets, hats, necklaces- ect.
What happens if I need to reschedule or cancel?
Life happens- I totally understand. If you or a family member is sick, contact me via text or email and we can reschedule your session up to 24 hours in advance.
If the weather is bad, we will reschedule your outdoor session. I will be in touch within 24 hours of your session discussing the weather conditions. Or we can move the session into my studio.
If you cancel within 24 hours or no-show, you will forfeit your right to reschedule your session.
When should NEWBORN photos take place?
Ideally, we will do newborn photos between 7 and 21 days old. That is when they are still sleepy and easy to pose. But it is very possible to still get great photos after the 21 day mark!
Do clients have to order prints through you?
Each session comes with a print release for PERSONAL use. You can print your photos for personal use anywhere you like. BUT I cannot guarantee the quality of the photos UNLESS you print through your gallery.
If you print through your gallery, I will give a full guarantee on quality and color. You can return your photos to me and explain the issues, and I will re-edit and re print one time to make the situation right.
Can pets be included in photos?
YES! If we are doing an outdoor photo session, I suggest bringing a friend with you to help wrangle your pet. It’s a huge help!
When should MATERNITY photos take place?
Maternity photos are best between 28 and 34 weeks.
Where Do you travel to for Newborn and Maternity photos?
For Maternity- The snapshot session is located at my studio in Delta, Ohio. I have indoor and outdoor options available. Check out the guide here!
For the Signature Maternity Session and Newborn photos- I travel up to 45 minutes from Delta, Ohio. I can travel even further- $50 per every 30 minutes over 45!
Can Grandparents take part in the newborn photos?
Newborn sessions are meant for immediate family. But I would love to work with you to include any special family members. We can add in extra family members for $20 per person.
